Hi There- I’m Deborah.
I’m a:
Academic & Executive Functioning Coach
Trained Mental Health Professional
Former Director of Disability & Accommodations
Current Learning Specialist
And once upon a time, I was labeled an “underachiever.”
Despite receiving all the traditional academic supports—extra instruction, specialized programs, endless worksheets—I still fell behind my peers. But the truth?
I didn’t need more of the same. I just learned differently.
Once I understood that—and started building systems that worked for me—everything changed. My confidence grew. I found my rhythm. I handled high-stakes academics with focus and resilience.
That experience lit a fire in me to help other students do the same.
I earned dual Master’s degrees in Social Work and Adult Learning & Leadership from Columbia University and completed an ICF-approved executive coaching program. Over the last 20+ years, I’ve worked in private and public institutions, including a decade as Director of Educational Support and Disability Services at the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
From top-tier universities to local state institutions, I’ve supported hundreds of students with ADHD, learning differences, and executive functioning challenges—helping them unlock their potential, build real-world strategies, and thrive as they earn their degrees.
Now, I’m here for your student. Wherever they are in their journey, we’ll meet them there—and move forward with purpose.
